The VMware Academic Program provides students and faculty in STEM programs access to virtualization technology and resources for teaching and research.VMware Academic Program includes the following elements:
- VMware Workstation
- VMware Fusion
- VMware eLearning and VMware Sales Professional training materials
- VMware vSphere Enterprise Plus
- VMware vCenter Server Standard
Software is accessed through the University’s VMware webstore using myBama credentials. Only students and faculty enrolled in STEM programs and/or courses are eligible to use this software.
