How to unzip a folder
This is for Windows only
Once your program is downloaded if it is in a zipped folder then you will need to do the following
- Create a folder with the name of the program that you are unzipping
- Right click the zipped folder
- Click "Extract all..."
- When the menu opens click the browse button and browse to the folder that you made and click okay
- Once you have selected the folder click the extract button
- Now wait for the contents of the zip to extract
- Once extraction is done open the new folder and right click setup or setup.exe and run as administrator (if you see multiple setup and setup.exe run the one listed as an application)
If your folder is not zipped then simply right click the setup and run as administrator
NOTE:SOME PROGRAMS LIKE AUTOCAD SOFTWARE WILL HAVE A SETUP AND SETUP.EXE. CHECK THE COLUMN UNDER TYPE FOR THE APPLICATION SETUP.EXE/SETUP AND RUN THAT ONE
