Calculator Recommendations

There is no uniform College of Engineering recommendation.

However, multiple departments have recommended the Casio FX 260 Solar NF model. This model is required for tests in some classes. This model is available in the UA Supe Store and is included as part of the drawing tool kit that students enrolled in ENGR 103/126 are required to buy.

Other than this test calculator, many faculty recommend the NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) test's calculators. They are: found at https://ncees.org/exams/calculator/. The list does not change much but is updated yearly as manufacturers sometimes change model numbers.
