What is VMware Fusion
VMware Fusion is a software hypervisor developed by VMware for Macintosh computers. VMware Fusion allows Intel-based Macs to run operating systems such as Microsoft Windows, Linux, NetWare, or Solaris on virtual machines, along with their macOS operating system using a combination of paravirtualization, hardware virtualization and dynamic recompilation.
As of Jan 7th VMWARE is only available for faculty, staff, or grad students conducting research
How to Install (faculty/students research only)
VMware Fusion is available at no cost to faculty and students in qualifying research groups. To receive a license, if you believe that you qualify, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will verify your status.
