What is Civil 3D

Civil 3D software is a civil engineering design and documentation solution that supports Building Information Modeling workflows. Using AutoCAD Civil 3D, you can better understand project performance, maintain more consistent data and processes, and respond faster to change.

Supported Operating Systems

Civil 3D is only available for Windows. Mac and Linux users will need to install Windows first.

VPN requirement

Campus VPN is not required

Downloading Civil 3D

Civil 3D is available for free for faculty, staff, and students.

Due to issues with Autodesk's site, we have downloaded the installers, serial numbers and product keys and made them available on UA Box.

The installer is over 4GB - it will take some time to download.
